In the early ‘80s, in the midst of Aussie Rock’s golden age, Goanna helped forge a new Australian identity, emerging from Geelong’s vibrant music scene, rehearsing at the Door Gallery Café in Fyansford and performing at the Argyle and Eureka Hotels.
